Project context
As Development Director of Empire Island Tower LLC, Sam Alyasin was responsible for the development proposition for Empire Tower in Abu Dhabi, bringing together hospitality, serviced residences, design coordination and commercial planning.
Conceived as an ultra-luxury serviced-residence tower, the scheme combined hotel accommodation in the lower floors with luxury serviced apartments and penthouses above. Its architecture, by Aedas, was recognised in the International Architecture Awards 2010 of the Chicago Athenaeum. The historical scheme illustrates the scale and complexity of the development experience now available to NEXTSTEP clients.
