Project context

The Marina Hotel was conceived as a five-star hotel tower of ground plus 32 floors in the heart of Dubai Marina, designed to the highest standards of luxury. The architect's concept presents the tower as a crowned beacon on the water: patterned glass façades evoke waves on the shore, and their upward movement, articulated in aluminium and stainless steel, culminates in an illuminated crown at penthouse level.

Sam Alyasin appointed and worked with the architect, U+A, providing client representation, development advisory and design management for the owner. Design credit for the building belongs to U+A.
